Membangun Karakter dengan Terapi Positif

Abstract

Pendidikan tidak hanya menghasilkan peserta didik yang cerdas dan terampil namun juga membentuk karakter dan watak serta kepribadian. Upaya membangun karakter secara implisit hendaknya mengembangan sifat atau pola perilaku yang didasari atau berkaitan dengan dimensi moral yang positif. Terapi positif yang dijiwai dari pendekatan psikologi positif yang memandang hidup harus memiliki suatu kebermaknaan (meaningfulness). Pelaksanaan terapi ini mengajarkan nilai-nilai dengan cara mendayagunakan potensi yang dimiliki tanpa memaksakan nilai-nilai tertentu peserta didik.
